About Ropers Classic
“The First Roping Sidepot Incentive”
ROPERS CLASSIC is the first-of-its-kind incentive program bringing sidepots to Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, and Tie-Down Roping futurities and jackpots across the USA. Modeled after barrel racing incentive programs, it’s designed to create more earnings — and more recognition — for ropers, stallion owners, and breeders alike. And best of all, there are no additional entry fees.
Why was it created
“Because ropers of all levels deserve the same opportunities.”
ROPERS CLASSIC was founded with a clear mission: to bring equal earning opportunities to all levels of ropers in the industry. Inspired by the success of barrel racing incentives, this program aims to bridge the gap by creating sidepot payouts for ropers of all levels, while also promoting stallions and supporting breeders who are building the next generation of rope horses.
What makes us different

Is It For Every Level Roper?
Whether you are roping in the Open or grinding it out in the 8.5, Ropers Classic is built for every level.
We are the first-ever nationwide roping sidepot program, bringing extra payout opportunities to Team Roping, Breakaway, and Tie-Down at futurities, jackpots, and major roping events across the USA.
Nominate your foal and you’ll get:
- Bigger checks without paying extra entry fees.
- Lifetime eligibility once nominated (as long as the sire was enrolled that year).
- Sidepots that pay at the top and the bottom — because every roper deserves a shot at the money.
A program that promotes great horses, rewards breeders, and puts money back in ropers’ pockets.
From pros chasing world and futurity titles to weekend warriors chasing gas money — this is your program.

Want to enroll your Stallion?
Here is what you might be wondering...
Stallion Enrollment Period
Each Enrollment year runs from January 1 through December 31.
Yearly Re-Enrollments
Stallion re-enrollment for the next season will open from September 1. Early re-enrollment ensures progeny can be nominated at the reduced early fees and allows time to update stallion promotion materials, keeping your horse visible and promoted across all Ropers Classic marketing channels.
What Is The Enrollment Cost?
Junior Stallions (progeny not yet 4 years old): $1,000/year
Senior Stallions (progeny 4 years or older): $2,500/year
What Do I Get With Enrollment?
Your stallion becomes eligible to have his foals nominated for life.
You will also receive promotion across Ropers Classic platforms, visibility on our website, and 20% of all eligible sidepot earnings from your stallion’s progeny.
What If My Stallion Drops Out Next Year?
Any progeny conceived or nominated during an eligible year will remain eligible for life. Future foals will not be eligible unless the stallion is re-enrolled.
What Happens To The Stallion Owner Sidepot Winnings If My Stallions Progeny Wins And My Stallion Is No Longer Enrolled?
If the winning horse’s sire is no longer enrolled, the portion of the payout that would have gone to the stallion owner will be returned to the sidepot payout pool.
What Is The Benefit To Enrolling A Junior Stallion?
Enrolling your junior stallion early ensures his progeny can enroll at the discounted nomination rate, saving future owners and breeders money while increasing the appeal of his offspring. Early enrollment also locks in eligibility for all future foals, gets your stallion included in Ropers Classic’s nationwide promotion, and builds his reputation before his first foals even hit the arena.

A Personal Note from the Founder
“This isn’t just a program — it’s a passion.”
I started ROPERS CLASSIC because I believe the roping community deserves more — more opportunity, more support, and more reward for the time and money we invest into great horses. Not just at a futurity level, but at all levels of roping. I am committed to treating this incentive with the same respect and work ethic that you put into your horses every day. I will promote your stallions like they are my own and will always put honesty and fairness first.
